Support guests during their shopping appointments by guiding them through the showroom and assisting with their selections. This role requires careful attention to detail, strong people skills, and the ability to work with guests from a variety of backgrounds in a trauma-informed, supportive way. 

Showroom Host volunteers help by: 

  • Guiding guests through their appointment 
  • Maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and trauma informed care environment 
  • Staying attentive to details and following established processes 
  • Helping in other areas of the warehouse when not assisting a guest 

Who this is a good fit for: 

  • People who enjoy working closely with guests from varied backgrounds 
  • Those with strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Volunteers who are patient, empathetic, and trauma-informed 

 *This role requires prior training to sign up for. If you would like to train, please let the Volunteer Manager know!* 

HOURS: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday 8:30am to 12:00pm
